Nicólas Vale

A strategist in communication, advertising and marketing, as well as a content producer and cultural promoter, Nicolás Vale knows how to understand trends, build audiences and tell stories, all of which make him a communication professional that covers all its processes with an avant-garde vision.

Prior to even studying Communications at the Anahuac University in Mexico City, and obtaining his Master’s degree in Film and Television Production at New York University, Nicolás was already one of the key assets in the advertising agency founded by his father in the 1980s, by creating unforgettable creative concepts like Tazos, same which transformed Sabritas’ promotional strategy not just in Mexico, but throughout Latin America.

Before assuming his current position, he was Creative Vice President of Vale & Associates, as well as a key factor in both its merger with Havas Worldwide and the positioning of Vale Network among the top 5 agencies in Mexico, over the past 20 years.

Beyond his work in Vale Network, he has produced two of the most relevant documentaries in the history of Mexican cinema: “Los que se quedan” (“Those who stay”, 2007), by Juan Carlos Rulfo and Carlos Hagerman, and the Emmy winner “Presunto culpable” (“Alleged offender”, 2008), by Roberto Hernández and Geoffrey Smith, which till now is the most successful documentary at box office ever produced in Mexico. Additionally, his ability to think outside the box has resulted in projects that have given a new tone to the communication of major brands: this is the case of “Dreams, by Mastercard” (2017) – an experience that mixed immersive theater, haute cuisine and networking – and “Disco 54, by Club Premier” (2019) – which took the concept of immersive theater even further, by recreating for the program members the legendary nights of Studio 54.

Likewise, ever since 2011 he has been president of Millesimé México and Nación de Vinos – two of the most important gastronomic events in the country, which have brought together remarkable international chefs and great Mexican wineries, respectively, whilst arousing the interest of the most important luxury brands. He is also the founding president of Inspark, the first digital entertainment and virtual reality park in Mexico.

Vale lives in Mexico City with his three children, and still strives to transform the paradigms of communication strategies in Mexico and the world.
